Lios Announces Construction Pilot as part of the EU’s InnoMatch Programme

Lios is working with a global insulation leader, to enhance acoustics in their insulation portfolio. This is part of the European Innovation Council’s InnoMatch programme, a Horizon Europe funded project to match EIC awardees with market leaders to pilot next-generation products.

Addressing low-frequency noise with our advanced acoustic material

Controlling low-frequency noise remains a major challenge due to bulky, heavy, and unsustainable traditional materials in the construction sector. Many existing solutions fail to meet today’s demands for thinner, lighter, and eco-friendly products that comply with stricter regulations.

Lios is poised to solve these challenges with its advanced acoustic material, SoundBounce. After over a decade of research, SoundBounce was developed – a high-performance, space-saving acoustic material. It provides a cleaner, cost-effective way to reduce noise, improving vehicles, construction, and urban environments worldwide.

This pilot is in conjunction with a global leader in high-performance insulation. Their mission is to accelerate a net-zero emissions built environment, putting people and the planet first. Their products combine sustainability and performance, helping to create energy-efficient, healthy buildings that meet evolving environmental standards worldwide.

SoundBounce for sustainable design

SoundBounce delivers up to 4x better noise reduction with a thinner, cost-effective, and sustainable design. The pilot partner values this breakthrough to meet evolving market needs.

This project enables Lios to undergo large-scale trials with this global leader in insulation, aligning with their goals for quieter, greener buildings and unlocking new market potential.
